The University of Amsterdam is one of Europe’s most prominent research-led universities. It is a modern institution with a long and rich history dating from 1632. The University of Amsterdam is also home of EDUWORKS which is a EU funded project whose goal is to train talented early-stage researchers in the socioeconomic and psychological dynamics of the labour supply and demand matching processes at aggregated and dis-aggregated levels. EDUWORKS brings together researchers from several academic disciplines. namely: Labour Economics, Sociology of Occupations, HRM, Lifelong Learning and Knowledge Management. To this date EDUWORKS has organized more than 30 conferences and workshops around Europe, and its members have published more than 35 journal and conference papers.
